01 / THE PROCESS

Your old part.
A new lease of life.

One local point of contact, from the first conversation to your replacement part.

01

We collect

Tell us about your part and your machine. Once we’ve discussed the job, we arrange collection of the original.

02

We recreate

We measure your part and recreate it in CAD, considering its dimensions, fit and intended use.

03

We print

Once the design, material and quote are agreed, your replacement is produced using 3D printing.

04

We return

Your finished part is brought back to you, with the delivery timing agreed for your job.

02 / THE RIGHT PART FOR THE JOB

Hard to source?
Start with what
you have.

A worn component. A broken fitting. A part that’s no longer available. Your original can be the starting point for a practical replacement.

Every job starts with a suitability check. The material, operating conditions and function of your part determine what’s possible.

Knobs, handles & controls

Replacement hand knobs, adjustment handles and similar fittings, recreated around the dimensions of your original.

Examples to discuss
Spacers, guides & bushes

Custom spacers, positioning guides and bushes where the application and material are suitable for a printed replacement.

Fit & operating conditions assessed
Covers, caps & housings

Non-safety-critical covers, protective caps and small housings shaped around your machine’s existing fittings.

Made from your original or dimensions
Gears & bespoke components

Small gears and unusual components can be assessed case by case. Loads, heat, wear and the part’s function all matter.

Subject to application review

04 / A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before we get started.

How quickly can I get a replacement?

Timing depends on the condition and complexity of your part, the design work and the printing requirements. Tell us when you need it and we’ll confirm a realistic timeframe with your quote.

Can you work from a broken part?

A damaged original can still be a useful starting point. Keep any broken pieces and send photos of the part and where it fits. We’ll assess whether there’s enough information to recreate it.

Can any machine part be 3D printed?

Not every application is suitable. We need to understand how the part is used, including heat, load, wear and exposure to chemicals. Safety-critical applications need specialist assessment and may be outside the service.

What does it cost?

Each job is quoted individually, based on the design work, material, quantity and collection or delivery arrangements. Send photos, rough dimensions and your location to get the conversation started.

Do I need a CAD file?

No. Recreating your existing part in CAD is part of the service. If you already have a drawing or CAD file, mention it in your enquiry.
